Welcome to SXStudio, the brainchild of Dr. Shell!
Decades ago, I embarked on an incredible journey to the United States, pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering. For six intense years, I immersed myself in the semiconductor industry and micro-device fabrication, focusing on their applications in sensors. Along the way, I published several papers, secured a patent, and earned my Ph.D. However, my curiosity and passion for innovation led me to switch gears from hardware to software.
I applied to and was accepted into Georgia Tech’s prestigious OMSCS program. Balancing work and study, I earned my master’s degree in computer science and transitioned into a software engineering role in the Bay Area.
The past decades have been a tapestry of diverse and enriching experiences, and I am eager to share my journey and insights with you. Whether you’re curious about my story or seeking advice on applying and succeed in a Ph.D. program, or transitioning into software engineering and computer science from a different field, I’m here to help.
